The Book 1 is a constant presence on the newswire, both with a healthy crop of inline colorways and PE make-ups that often draw as many eyes than their widely available counterparts. A category that’s gone unexplored to this point has been the collab slate, but by looping in Devin Booker’s love for classic automobiles, the Nike x Book x Chevy collection is set to change that on April 22nd. Sneaker News is thrilled to bring you an advance look at one of the pairs minted for the collection, an F&F make-up of the Nike Blazer Low.
The full package fits inside a double box containing both the “Dark Golf Leaf” Book 1 and a far more limited Blazer Low with the same colorway. That latter shoe wears some tangible inspiration from the 1972 vehicle that lights this collection, limiting its stock numbers to just 72 as the F&F version of this collab. Though much of the peripherals are consistent with what we saw in the official reveal (Chevrolet tongue tag, “Michigan to the World” shoebox), embossed lettering on the interior collar stamps individual numbers; our pair arrived as “57 of ’72.

Nike has never been particular shy about minting special do-ups of Booker’s signature, so it’s no surprise that the three colorways of the Blazer bleed onto the Book 1, seen in promo shots included just below. The Chevy x Nike Book 1 “Dark Gold Leaf” and Blazer Low “Dark Green” release on April 22nd via SNKRS, retailing for $150 and $100 respectively. Even if the shoe featured throughout this piece won’t come to the public, they’re still plenty intriguing from afar; catch our imagery included below.
