Did not expect it to be so good! I was skeptic when I first entered the restaurant, since the review count was low, but I was pleasantly surprised when I tasted the bagels. They have vegetarian and vegan options too! We ordered the Caprese, Chicken and Pastrami bagels with Americano. The Pastrami bagel was my favorite, but the other/ were also very good! The bagels themselves were very soft and tasty! The Americano was nothing out of the ordinary, but it was good! The prices are very reasonable for Vienna standards and the location is close to the city, so I’d recommend all Bagel lovers to visit here.
I cannot say I liked it. Don't get me wrong, I had the summer bagel and it was good though I was disappointed that the bagel was not toasted. Unfortunately, I dislike the price/portion ration. I did not feel full afterwards and for 10 EUR that is something I expect. On top of that the place had a really strange vibe, you can sit in the neighbouring restaurant but it was totally empty with no music, it felt.. weird. Anyway, most likely I won't be going back.
The bagel was good but it was very expensive (even for Vienna) and the whole set up is just odd.It doesn't appear to a bagel shop any more, although the sign is there and they still have a menu for the bagels, as you sit in a restaurant that is veering towards getting large tourist groups in.

Know before you go
- Consider trying the Pastrami or Veggie (vegan💚) bagel based on positive customer reviews.
- Be cautious about portion sizes versus prices as some customers felt they were not filling enough for the cost.
- If sensitive to specific ingredients like olives or prefer modifications on your order, double-check with staff before placing it.
Reviews
Mark's Bagel has received mixed reviews from customers, with some praising the quality and variety of bagels, highlighting options like Caprese, Chicken, Pastrami, and Veggie (vegan💚) as delicious choices. Customers appreciated the soft and tasty bagels along with reasonable prices for Vienna standards. However, there were complaints about high prices for small portions in contrast to expectations. Some visitors found the ambiance strange or disappointing due to factors like empty surroundings or low-quality ingredients in certain bagels. Despite these mixed opinions, Mark's Bagel seems to have a loyal following who enjoy their offerings.

Veggie bagel (vegan💚) was really tasty there, good flavour balance. And stuff was so nice and caring.(To be honest not sure about price size balance, but the taste worth it)
Randomly found this place and loved it instantly! Small and simple shop selling amazing bagels, both sweet and savory, I got the PBJ bagel for breakfast and it was super good! Freshly handmade bagels make all the difference, also a bit cheaper than other places considering it’s in a very central spot. Strongly recommend! 🥯
