In the coming weeks the full details behind the charges against Sean Combs are going to start becoming public.

The rapper’s headline-grabbing trial on charges of trafficking, racketeering and more will start early in May. The jury will be selected during the first week and hearings will then begin.

There has already been a good deal of coverage in the mainstream media about Combs’ behaviour in relation to the charges, as well as a number of documentaries about P Diddy and his infamous parties.

In a new docuseries Sean Combs, aka P Diddy, is accused of mistreating his former partner and the mother of three of his children, the late Kim Porter.

The former editor-in-chief of Vibe Danyel Smith made the claim after appearing as one of the many people interviewed in the Discover docu-series The Fall of Diddy, which aired late last year.

Ms Smith alleged in a clip from The Fall of Diddy: “I’ve seen [Combs] act around Kim in many ways that were just awful and very mean.”

She recounts an instance where she said Combs showed up to a nightclub where she was with Porter and other women.

“He just started hollering at her that she should be at home, not out. Then he grabbed her handbag and literally turned it upside down. He just emptied it out in front of everybody,” she added.

Diddy had three children with Porter, female twins and a son, Christian Combs, who uses the stage name King.

Overall, Combs has had seven children with four women. His three sons are in their thirties and appeared in court in December to support their father.

His daughters have also spoken out in defence of their father, but who are they?

Diddy has 18-year-old twin daughters, Jessie and D’Lila, from his relationship with the the late model and actress Porter. Diddy and Porter had an on-off relationship from 1994 to 2007. Porter died aged 47 of lobar pneumonia in 2018.

Jessie and D’Lila share an Instagram account called The Combs Twins where they post dance routines and pictures in matching outfits to their 700,000 followers. The pair celebrated new year on a yacht in Saint Barthelemy in the Caribbean. “2025 is OUR year,” they wrote on Instagram.

The pair are in their senior year at Sierra Canyon, a private high school in Los Angeles, where they are on the cheerleading team.

The twins have used their platform to defend their father. In September a posthumous memoir was published that was alleged to be written by Porter. Lost Words – The Untold Story in Kim’s Words was said to be based on Porter’s diary and published by producer Todd Christopher Guzze, who claims he received a flash drive from Porter.

In the memoir there were claims that Diddy was violent towards Porter. This led to the pair’s three children releasing a joint statement calling the book fake.

“Claims that our mom wrote a book are simply untrue,” said the children. “Our mother should be remembered for the beautiful, strong, kind, and loving woman she was. Her memory should not be tainted by horrific conspiracy theories.”

The twins turned 18 just before Christmas and are said to be being looked after by a close friend of Porter’s called Lala in Los Angeles.

Diddy has another 18-year-old daughter, Chance, with businesswoman Sarah Chapman. Chance grew up in Los Angeles and attended Sierra Canyon along with Jessie and D’Lila, which she graduated from last summer. She is an aspiring actress and is now enrolled at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.

Chance has also spoken in support of her father in posts with her siblings. In October, they wrote in a joint statement: “The past month has devastated our family. Many have judged both him and us based on accusations, conspiracy theories, and false narratives that have spiraled into absurdity on social media. We stand united, supporting you every step of the way. We hold onto the truth, knowing it will prevail, and nothing will break the strength of our family. WE MISS YOU & LOVE YOU DAD.”

The rapper’s youngest child is two-year-old Love, whose mother is Dana Tran. Tran works in the cybersecurity industry and the pair never officially confirmed that they were together. She runs an Instagram page for Love which includes the toddler playing with her siblings and posing in fancy dress. The toddler already has 97,000 followers.

After his children wish him a happy birthday, Diddy says: “'I love y'all, I can't wait to see y'all. I'm proud of y'all, especially the girls, all of y'all, but just for being strong, thank you for being strong.”

“Thank you for being by my side and supporting me, I got the best family in the world,” he added.
